Hanover Health & Rehabilitation Center in Mechanicsville is seeking Night Shift LPNs for its 120 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.

We offer full time nurses a set schedule EOW with pay based on experience! We also have a daily pay option available!

The LPN supervises CNAs and provides direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and MFA guidelines. Provides general nursing care to patients in accordance with state and federal regulations and MFA nursing policy and procedures. Writes weekly/monthly summaries of patients’ status, abilities and addresses problems identified in the patient care plan for RN review.

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

One (1) year of previous nursing experience preferred. New Grads welcome to apply.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct care to the residents of the health and rehabilitation center, assisting them in activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse. Those duties include but are not limited to: bathing, dressing, serves and collects food trays, feeds residents, measures and records weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output as directed.

Qualifications:

Must have current Virginia Nurse Aide license in good standing or be within 100 days of completion of state approved CNA course.

Hanover provides a high volume of short-term nursing and rehabilitation services. We are seeking a candidate that can provide discharge planning as well as comprehensive medically related social services to our patients. Responsibilities include MDS, Care Plans, Assessments and timely documentation operating within the framework for the company's standards for best practice in accordance with all state and federal regulations.

The qualified candidates will have a 4-year degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, or other human services related degree.
